It is not recommended to combine Escitalopram with Moxifloxacin (Moflax). There is a risk of interactions between these drugs, which can lead to undesirable health effects - arrhythmias. This is especially true for people who are sensitive to the occurrence of such disorders - i.e. suffering from heart disease or the so-called "long QT syndrome", having problems with nerve conduction, or exposed to electrolyte disorders (e.g. after acute diarrhoea and vomiting).
If you need to use these two medicines at the same time, it is important to consult your doctor, who will be able to assess the risks and benefits and adjust your doses or, if necessary, recommend alternative medicines. Do not change the dosage or stop taking these medicines without talking to your doctor.
