Can pain when urinating and general discomfort be a side effect of using metronidazole polpharma? I am at the 7th tablet from the blister, which was prescribed for bacterial vaginosis, and only now such a symptom occurred. Could it be antibiotic-free cystitis? Can I take furagina?

Pain when urinating and general discomfort with oral use of Metronidazole have not been reported to date. In contrast, pain when urinating or more frequent urination has been reported with vaginal use of Metronidazole.
