If you are allergic to Augmentin, do not use Zinnat because of the possible risk of allergies. Not all people with an allergy to penicillin are also allergic to cephalosporins. However, if treatment with a penicillin antibiotic has caused a severe allergic reaction in the past, Zinnat should not be used because of the possible risk of allergy. You may or may not have a cross-reaction, i.e. an allergic reaction to substances with a chemical structure similar to the original sensitizing substance. The final decision is made by the doctor. Always report to your doctors that you are allergic to pienicillins. Article you may be interested in: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/fakty-i-mity-o-antybiotykach
