No, nifuroxazide is not recommended for diarrhoea in this situation. Medicines that can be given to children in case of diarrhea are probiotics or preparations containing diosmectite (eg Smecta, Dicostop). The most important action in case of diarrhea in children is irrigation with oral rehydration fluids, that is, electrolytes from the pharmacy (eg Acidolite, Orsalit). If the child does not tolerate the taste of liquid, then a good way is to cool the drink. If the child, after all, refuses to drink such a solution - he should take other liquids: water, diluted juice or compote, soup.
