Hello, yesterday I took the first dose of the drug setaloft 50, this morning I took a bixebra tablet, which takes constant. Unfortunately, it was only after the fact that I read that you can not take these two drugs together. He feels dull, drowsy... Could it be side effects?

The simultaneous use of drugs containing ivabradine (Bixebra) and sertraline (Setaloft) can lead to an increase in the effect of ivabradine and its side effects., such as visual disturbances, nausea, diarrhea, drop in blood pressure, excessive slowing of the heart rhythm, as well as dangerous arrhythmias. Drowsiness may be related, m.in to a decrease in blood pressure, so if you have the opportunity, it is worth measuring your blood pressure. If medicines have been prescribed by different doctors, you should consult your doctor whether treatment with both medicines can be continued and whether you need to modify the treatment, e.g. adjust the dose accordingly. If both medicines were prescribed by the same doctor, please carefully observe the body's reactions. In case of disturbing symptoms, m.in a drop in pressure, chest pain, arrhythmias or fainting, you should immediately seek medical advice.
