I want to reduce the dose of biosterone from 20 mg to 15 due to a pressure jump or should I wait 2 weeks and only reduce if you can immediately. I don't want to take an extra dose of pressure medication to stay with 20 mg of biosterone. Are pressure jumps normal with this drug?

In case of increased side effects (in your case pressure jumps), Biosterone should be discontinued, you do not need to reduce the dose gradually. Non-life-threatening arrhythmias are classified as very rare and pass after discontinuation of Biosterone and appropriate treatment. The recommended initial single daily dose for men is 10 mg, while the recommended maximum dose is 50 mg. The initial dose should be gradually increased (by 5 to 10 mg every 2 weeks) until the desired therapeutic effects are achieved. It is recommended to use the lowest effective dose. The effect of the medicinal product is not immediate and occurs after a few weeks of use. Biosterone is intended for long-term use. If long-term doses greater than 25 mg in women and 50 mg in men (only in consultation with a physician) are necessary, dhEA plasma concentrations should be measured regularly and appropriate medical examinations should be performed in a timely manner.
