The use of Xanax, also occasionally, should be based on the doctor's instructions. This preparation, due to its addictive potential, has limitations in use. In addition, combining alprazolam (the active ingredient in Xanax) with escitalopram may increase some side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion or difficulty concentrating.
