Can I accept an expired escitalopram year?
Can I take escitalopram which is a year after the deadline?? I'm on a long trip and I don't have the opportunity to go to the doctor. Can it harm me?

Do not use any medicines after the expiry date. Not only may an expired drug no longer be effective, it can lead to side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or allergies. You can try to contact your doctor by phone and ask for an e-prescription for a new pack of medicine.
