Is it possible to combine the drugs Elicea and Hydroxyzinum?
I have been taking the drug elicea for 4 weeks but I had a problem with falling asleep and the doctor attached me hydroxyzine in the morning 10 mg in the afternoon 10mg and in the evening 25 mg but after the afternoon donor I felt like the heart is pounding the bell with acceleration or these two drugs can not be combined with this happening?

Your doctor may recommend the use of hydroxyzine together with escitalopram (the active ingredient in Elicea), but in rare cases (especially in people with congenital long QT syndrome or other heart and conduction diseases) this may increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm, which can be serious and potentially life-threatening. Please see a doctor and inform about the observed effects, and until then it is better to give up the use of hydroxyzine. Reporting side effects to your doctor or individually allows you to gather more information about the safety of your medications and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future.
