In the alleviation of constipation, it is recommended to use probiotics with a strain of Bifidobacterium animalis bacteria. Unfortunately, this particular strain is not available in pharmacy preparations. In pharmacy probiotics, probiotics containing other bacteria of the genus Bifidobacterium are available.
