Can mucus in the stool during antibiotic therapy be caused by taking a probiotic?
For two days I have been taking the antibiotic Zinoxx and the protective probiotic Dicoflor. After two doses, I developed mucous discharge from the anus. I have now taken four doses and this symptom is still present. Could it be related to the consumption of this probiotic.

Śluz w kale może oznaczać uszkodzenie błony jelit spowodowane stosowaniem antybiotyku. Jeśli towarzyszy mu biegunka i ból brzucha - wówczas warto skontaktować się z lekarzem. W innym wypadku sytuacja powinna uspokoić się po zakończeniu antybiotykoterapii.
