Is Zinnat an effective antibiotic for cystitis and urethritis?

Is zinnat 500 effective for cystitis and urethritis? I have already taken various antibiotics cipronex, biseptol, monural and inflammation returns. The urologist gave a referral for the tests I am waiting for half a year... I don't know what to do anymore...

The antibiotic Zinnat can be used for infections m.in throat, sinuses, middle ear, urinary system, skin: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/86014/zinnat-tabletki-powlekane/apteki However, Zinnat may not be an effective drug in the treatment of cystitis and urethritis. Before starting the treatment, I encourage you to do a urine culture with an antibiogram. In this way, it will be possible to choose a targeted antibiotic. The most common bacterium causing infection of both the lower and upper urinary tract is Escherichia coli, klebsiella, Proteus, Enterococcus and Pseudomonas may also be less common. According to the manufacturer, there is a risk of resistance of the acquired E.coli bacterium to the effects of Zinnat - which may not be effective. The same situation applies to Klebsiella and Proteus. Microbes such as Enterococcus and Pseudomonas show innate resistance to Zinnat - in this case, the drug will not show a healing effect. We wrote more about the treatment of urinary tract infections in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/zakazenie-drog-moczowych In addition, it is possible to use preparations supporting the treatment of urinary tract infections. Preparations available in online and stationary pharmacies include, m.in: - Urosept: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81022/urosept-drazetki/apteki - Żuravit Forte: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96194/zuravit-forte-kapsulki/apteki - Apo-Uro Plus: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/6222/apo-uro-plus-kapsulki/apteki The choice of an online pharmacy allows you to compare prices and purchase preparations with home delivery or personal collection at the pharmacy. In the case of recurrent infections, it is recommended to use specialized preparations, such as: - Urolact: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92121/urolact-proszek-do-wytworzenia-zawiesiny/apteki - Canephron: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/98626/canephron-tabletki/apteki - Femannose N: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/104436/femannose-n-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki In the event that there is no improvement when using the prescribed drug, I encourage you to repeat consultation with a doctor.
