Leki Asaris i Alvesco powinny być stosowane zgodnie z zaleceniami lekarza prowadzącego. W praktyce klinicznej polifarmakoterapia astmy jest często stosowana. Leki powinny być stosowane w zaleconych dawkach i odpowiednich odstępach czasu.
W przypadku łączenia dwóch leków zawierających kortykosteroidy w formie wziewnej należy zwrócić uwagę na możliwość zwiększenia ryzyka wystąpienia działań niepożądanych jak np. hipokaliemia (obniżone stężenie potasu we krwi).
