I missed the second dose of Metronidazole vaginally - should I continue the treatment?

Good morning.
I missed one dose of Polpharma Metronidazole vaginally, I should take it at night, it was supposed to be the second dose out of the prescribed 10, or continue the next day at night and will the drug work despite missing a dose? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Continue taking this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Irregular use of antibacterial drugs may affect their effectiveness and the onset of resistance (subsequent infections may be more difficult to treat), so it is important to take this type of preparations on time. A good solution would be to determine with the doctor whether it is necessary to extend the treatment.
