The diuretic effect after a single oral dose begins between 30 and 60 minutes and usually lasts between 6 and 8 hours. Every body reacts differently to drugs. It may happen that taking 2 tablets of Furosemide in your case does not cause a significant increase in the volume of urine excreted.
