Gynoxin is an antifungal cream used to treat vaginal yeast infections. Sex during treatment can affect the effectiveness of the cream. During intercourse, the cream can be removed from the vagina, which can reduce its effectiveness in treating infections. In addition, yeast infections can be transmitted to the partner during intercourse. Clotrimazole cream can cause irritation in some people, so sex while using the cream may increase the risk of irritation for both the person being treated and their partner.

If your partner develops symptoms of infection - please consult a doctor, and for the duration of the cream treatment - it is best to refrain from having sex.
