Pecto Drill is a drug that contains carbocysteine. This substance makes the secretion less viscous and more liquid, which makes it easier to remove from the respiratory tract during coughing (the so-called mucolytic effect).
In children aged 6 to 12 years, the recommended dose is 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day. The intervals between doses are about 3-4 hours. Example diagram: 7:00/12:30/18:00
If your doctor has prescribed a different dosage, follow the instructions.
The drug should not be used before bedtime. It is best to take the last dose 2-3 hours before bedtime.
It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids, preferably water.
