Hello. I have a question about vitamin C supplementation when using combined contraceptive pills. On the Internet, opinions are very divided. Once I read that it affects them in a dose above 1000mg, and once I read that this dose refers only to single-component contraceptive pills, because apparently two-component contraceptive pills are "resistant to changes in vitamin C". Once, when taking Rigevidon, I used two tablets a day in the morning and in the evening, unfortunately, I did not watch the time intervals, but everything was fine. Now in such weather as it is easy to catch something. I generally do not have problems with immunity, but household members quickly catch some infections. Therefore, I would like to start supplementing WitC again during this autumn and winter period. Will two Pills a day of Rutinoscorbim (both would contain 200mg) affect the effectiveness of the combined contraceptive pills? Will such a dose be adequate to build immunity? What is the interval between the contraceptive pill and Rutinoscorbin? What other safe ways to build up immunity without risking weakening the combined contraceptive pills? If I caught something, will gripex, ibum, vicks or any other painkillers and colds (apart from apap) affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills? What is the interval then between contraceptive pills and medications? Best regards.
