Good morning, I have been taking the Slinda single-ingredient contraceptive pill for 2 months. Previously, I had been using a contraceptive ring for 3 months, but my limbs hurt and the gynaecologist recommended a change. During these 2 months I had mid-cycle bleeding (the first month 5 days and now the bleeding has been occurring for 13 days). It wouldn't worry me if it wasn't for the fact that the bleeding at the beginning was quite painful, it requires the use of a sanitary pad all the time. While taking the placebo pills, I also had withdrawal bleeding and pain. I would like to add that I have always had very painful periods. I'm afraid I might get anemia. In addition, I have noticed an increased visibility of the veins on my arms and legs, but I do not feel pain in my limbs with the disc. There were slightly protruding veins under both knees, which also worries me quite a bit. Sometimes I feel a slight discomfort/pain, but this is rare and passes quickly.
Could it be something serious? Should I stop using contraception?
Best regards
