What else for a runny nose and sneezing?
Good morning
Since September, I have had a recurring problem with runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, swollen mucous membrane (a feeling of a very swollen nose from the inside). The infection appears, resides, calms down for a few days and comes back. I'm allergic, so every "ordinary" cold is more severe for me than for the average person, but I have the impression that this season is much, much worse. At the end of September, I took Neosine Forte, but when I felt very bad, the doctor diagnosed sinusitis and prescribed Augmentin, which I took for 10 days. I'm taking Clatra or Cezera on a regular basis. I used Nasivin 2 times (interval) for up to 5 days in my nose. Currently I have Sinulan Forte Duo (previously I had Zatogrip Forte), Sambucol and nasal sprays: Ectorhin, Rhinoargent and Pneumovit Zatoki (I use alternately). I take vitamin D, Zincas and rutinoscorbin. I can't take pseudoephedrine medication because of my heart problems (I used to have a lot of heart problems when I didn't have heart problems). Unfortunately, the ailments still do not go away. Currently, the runny nose is watery, I have frequent sneezing, itchy nose and all the time a feeling of strong swelling of the nose/sinuses - because of this feeling of weakness, total lack of sleep (like hypoxia), because I breathe very badly. I have the impression that it is a catarrhal infection combined with an allergy. I don't have my next appointment with an ENT specialist until the beginning of December. Is there any preparation instead of pseudoephedrine that will help constrict the mucosa, reduce sneezing and tickling, and calm the symptoms? What else can I try to use to help myself?
