Good morning
She has been using kontracept pills for over 2 years. My gynecologist said that if I don't want to bleed, I shouldn't take any breaks unless there are some undesirable effects.
Until recently, nothing was wrong with me and there was no bleeding in this way. However, in recent months, I have started bleeding irregularly, even every 1.5 weeks.
The gynecologist said I had to start taking breaks because something (I don't want to spell it wrong) wasn't rebuilding me, which was causing me to bleed.
However, he recommended that I start taking a break on the first day of bleeding and start taking pills after the bleeding stopped.
I don't want to undermine the gynecologist's opinion, but I still have my doubts, because I haven't found such a method of taking pills anywhere.
Everywhere it says that you should start taking the pills preferably on the first day of the new cycle, but not later on the 5th day of the new cycle.
However, in my case, the bleeding usually lasts 5 days, so it turns out that I will start taking the pills on the 6th day.
Sometimes it happens that it lasts 6 days, so then I will start taking the tablets on day 7.
Will I maintain continuity of protection by taking the pills in this way? I'm talking about the period from the time of taking until the next bleeding occurs.
