Good morning, about a year ago I had a vit test. D and I got a score of 13. The Doctor recommended that I take Vigantol (which I had never taken before) at a dose of 16 drops per day - and control my vitamin d levels and reduce the dose after a few months. I must admit, this drug is sold without a prescription, and due to a very active lifestyle and everything that is happening in the world (pandemics, etc.), I have not noticed at all that I have been taking this preparation in such a large dose for a year. As soon as I realized, in February, I stopped vigantol and repeated the vitamin D test - the current result is 43. However, I am very worried because my previous ailments, i.e. terrible pain in the joints and bones, have not only not decreased, but I have the impression that they have increased. In addition, new ailments appeared: frequenturia, kidney pain, heart pain and huge memory problems. Sometimes it seems to me that I live in a half-dream, not in waking life, as if I understand what is happening, but I am very slowed down, deluded and I have huge gaps in my memory. I've never had this before. Ahead of the question, I work in health care, I have not been ill with covid, I do not have antibodies. Can all this be related to an overdose of vit. D? Yours sincerely.
