Good morning. Since February this year, I have been using Ginoring contraceptive rings. Spotting besides withdrawal bleeding has occurred in some cycles, usually 2-3 days before the date of removal of the disc. I consulted it with the attending gynecologist, who said that it happens and if it does not bother me, it is fine. In October I was on a follow-up visit with tests, everything turned out well. Now, however, the spotting has started earlier and lasts longer, there are like brown clots from time to time and otherwise some secretion, also rather brown. I should take out the disc on Sunday, December 11. However, already on the night of December 3-4, a slight spotting began, and on December 5 and 6, brown clots appeared, on Monday also with a slight pain as during the period. I use the disc correctly, on December 2 I took it out for an hour for the duration of intercourse, but according to the prescription you can take it out even for 3 hours, nothing ever happened after such removal. Nothing has changed in the way I use the puck. Do I have cause for concern? How many days can this type of spotting last? It is usually said to appear during the first 3 months of contraceptive use. Or should I have taken the puck out earlier since I'm bleeding anyway? Unfortunately, my gynecologist does not take for the next month. I will also add that the last month has been quite stressful for me, maybe it could have affected the situation. Thank you in advance for your reply.
