Hello. I've been struggling with irregular periods for years. Only doctors were constantly prescribing contraception, and then there was acne. Contraception discontinued more than half a year ago, acne controlled with the help of a cosmetologist. However, the problem with my period is still there, I did hormonal tests, one gynecologist said that of course everything is normal and he will prescribe Duphaston, but I did not want to take it due to the fact that progesterone causes acne. I went to a gynecologist-endocrinologist in a larger city, where he said that there was an imbalance of estrogens and progesterone, low levels and an imbalance, hence the lack of menstruation. I was given Femoston 14 tablets with estradiol and the other 14 with Dydrogesteronum. I've been taking dydrogesterone for 3 days now and the bumps and blackheads on my chin have started to appear again. And for a long time my complexion looked really fine. Is it because of this drug? Should I stop? Or does the body need to get used to the drug? Or does the medication need to be changed? Will any progesterone medication cause me a rash?
