Once in a while, he has trouble falling asleep, which is probably due to some fears (I think it's a fear of sleeping). I don't have a problem with sleep and sleepiness.
Although it is sporadic, when it occurs it is tiring for me and although I am not a supporter of medication, in such moments there is a thought to go to the doctor, but in the end I fall asleep and the next day I know I don't feel it anymore and I don't think about it. I'm also held back by the fact that when I go to the doctor, in order to get medication I'll have to have these fears written down, for example, and this will exclude me from having a gun license in the future, which I would like to have.
And now the question is, assuming that I would find a sympathetic psychiatrist, would it be possible to subsume these drugs under sleep problems or insomnia?
And I'll ask what medications can be more or less helpful in my case, assuming that they have to be used on an ad hoc basis, not on a regular basis, because I don't see the point of taking medication regularly if such problematic nights occur 2-3 times a month.
