Hello, I'm 42 years old at the moment and I've had epilepsy since I was 9 years old (at the age of 9 I was diagnosed with Cerebral Astrocytoma, I had surgery in 1991 and the doctors said that maybe after removing the brain tumor I would stop having seizures - but the tumor was in such a place that it was not possible to remove it completely, I had radiotherapy later - about a month after the surgery the attacks started again and continue to this day). I've been given various medications: as a child, I've been given Amizepine, then various other medications. Now I'm getting 3 medications ( at the age of 30 the doctor introduced Trileptal 600 mg, then he added Lamotrix 50 mg, because there was no reaction of the body for a long time to these drugs the doctor added to the treatment Lamotrix 100 mg. After some time, I was diagnosed with drug-resistant epilepsy. Now, in addition to those medications, I'm also getting Trileptal 300 mg and for a few months now, Ontozra 25 mg on top of all that.
Is there a chance that Ontozra's drug will at least help reduce the number of seizures and their severity, because I no longer have the strength to continue fighting the disease. Especially since it's not my only illness - I've had a stroke, I have diabetes, psoriasis, rheumatism,...
