Good morning!
A few general information about me and the medications I was taking:
Different psychiatrists diagnosed me in very different ways. Often different from each other. The ultimate diagnosis is dissociative-derealization disorder (conversion disorder), which is also a diagnosis that I find hard to believe. Internally, I am convinced that the above disorders are caused by traumas from my childhood and university time, where I was treated very violently.
I often had sudden bouts of unreality. Great sweating. White in front of the eyes. Feeling like I'm separate from the world.
I've tried different medications:
- Escilatopranum
- sulpiride
- paroxetine
- Ketrel
- Latuda (which has a terrible effect on me after taking it, I was unable to do anything for two hours, I couldn't sit still for the first two hours after taking the drug.
Currently, I have been treated only with paroxetine (20mg) for a year, but recently the increased drug attacks have returned.
The doctor prescribed me clonazepam (which I still take with paroxetine 20mg). Which, as the only drug of the above, gives me a sense of connection with the world around me and makes me finally feel present in contact with other people. The drug does not cause any euphoria or other "narcotic" experiences. It just makes me feel like herself for the first time in 4 years of treatmentZ
However, I know that tolerance to clonazepam is growing quite quickly and there is a need to increase the dose.
I've read somewhere on the forum that taking acodin for a short time (not taken at the same time as clonazep) lowers tolerance to clonazepam and lower doses then work as at the beginning.
Could any of you confirm this information for me?
Best regards
Igor
