Good morning, I am taking a dose of 20mg per day of Brintellix. My question is, can there be undesirable interactions with Diclac Duo 75mg and Mydocalm Forte 150mg? These drugs were prescribed to me for sciatica, I have been taking them for two days and today there was general weakness, a feeling of shortness of breath and I wonder if these drugs can be the cause of this condition? Thank you for the information greetings

Tolperisone (the active ingredient in Mydocalm) may increase the levels of vortioxetine (the active ingredient in Brintellix) in the blood, increasing the risk of side effects. Weakness is one of the observed side effects of Brintellix, but dyspnoea has not been observed as a result of its use. In addition, Brintellix used in combination with Diclac Duo may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. In summary, Brintellix can be used in combination with Diclac Duo and Mydocalm Forte if it has been prescribed by the same doctor, or if the prescriber has been informed about what other medicines the patient is already taking and what additional conditions he suffers from. If your doctor has not been informed about the medicines you are taking, you should consult again, as you may need to make dose adjustments.
