Should I agree to give my son insulin Lantus if he has glucose intolerance?

My 7-year-old son has been diagnosed with glucose intolerance, we are waiting for antibody tests. Sugars on an empty stomach to 115, after a meal to 200, then spontaneously fall to 140-170. Sugar research for 4 years at a similar level. The hospital wants to include Lantus for him, should I agree?

Yes, you should try the treatment that your doctor has proposed. I understand your concern about including insulin, but please remember that elevated blood glucose levels are associated with health complications and can be prevented by taking appropriate medications. Below I enclose a few links to articles that will help you familiarize yourself with the subject of prediabetes and medications, I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/insulinoopornosc-i-stan-przedcukrzycowy-o-krok-od-cukrzycy https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/insulina-w-cukrzycy-rodzaje-dzialanie-sposoby-podawania https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-rozni-sie-cukrzyca-typu-1-od-cukrzycy-typu-2 I will also add that prescription drugs such as Lantus, you can book in the selected pharmacy via GdziePoLek - I attach a link to the product page: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/42414/lantus-iniekcja/apteki
