Does it make sense to take Madopar after a stroke?

Is it reasonable to take madopar 3 times a day after an ischemic stroke? If it is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's, why should a person after a stroke take it if it causes psychophysical problems

Yes, the main indication in which Madopar is used is Parkinson's disease. Sometimes, however, the doctor, based on his knowledge and experience, may prescribe the use of the drug off-label (this is the so-called off-label application, more in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami). There are scientific reports that say that the combination of the use of drugs with levodopa (Madopar) with physiotherapy exercises may accelerate the recovery of patients after injury. However, if you have doubts about the recommended treatment, I encourage you to talk to your doctor. Let me remind you that on GdziePoLek you can check the availability and book prescription drugs such as Madopar in a selected pharmacy — I enclose the link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/45667/madopar-125-mg-kapsulki/apteki I encourage you to read a few articles related to the question: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/co-zrobic-gdy-ktos-ma-udar-mozgu https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/drzenie-rak-czy-to-choroba-parkinsona
