The drug contains small amounts of purified talc, which does not pose a threat to the life and health of the patient. According to toxicological reviews: "Despite various reports, many years of research on talc have not shown that it has any harmful effects on our health, including above all the carcinogenic effect of which it was suspected. This was mainly due to the fact that in some batches of low-grade talc an admixture of asbestos was used, the carcinogenic effect of which is of course widely known. However, both talc used in cosmetic products and in pharmaceutical preparations is definitely present in its pure form, so it does not pose a threat."
