Will a pregnancy test taken 20 days after intercourse be reliable?
19.99 zł

Hello. The intercourse took place on February 12. On February 17, I took a blood test and the results indicated that I was not pregnant. On February 18, the period began, which lasted 6 days. On the 14th day of the cycle, there was a slight spotting and slight nausea. On that day (but before spotting) I did a pregnancy test (i.e. 20 days after intercourse) and it came out negative. Is there still a chance for fertilization, I am not disturbed by this spotting and you teach nausea that has never occurred before.

The result of the urine pregnancy test that you performed 20 days after intercourse can already be considered reliable and negative means no pregnancy. In addition, the absence of pregnancy may be evidenced by the fact that there was a 6-day menstrual bleeding. Spotting and nausea can be associated with, for example, stress or infection. In my opinion, there is no risk of pregnancy. However, if anything still bothers you, you can repeat the pregnancy test from the pharmacy for peace of mind. Such a test can be bought in pharmacies, also on-line with home delivery, e.g. here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/97388/domowe-laboratorium-pink-test-ciazowy-strumieniowy-super-czuly-test/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/94711/baby-boom-test-ciazowy-kasetkowy-test/apteki If you get a negative result again, you can be 100% sure that you are not pregnant.
