Hello, I often get infections. I stay in dry rooms. I try to moisturize the rooms, but I feel dry in the nose. I read about the robotac spray and I see that it contains isopropyl myristate and bht antioxidant plus other ingredients that seem safe with long-term use. In contrast, the noson product contains itself Sesame oil Which of these products should moisturize the nose better And whether the ingredient lo isopropyl myristate and the antioxidant bht have side effects

Rinopantein as a preparation intended for use on the mucous membranes of the nose should not cause the negative effects that you described.

Thank you very much, and whether the rinopantein ointment, which has it, as you mentioned in the composition of petroleum jelly, will not block the movement of hairs in the nose and glue them together so that dust and viruses will penetrate faster?

1. Rinopanteina and Rinotac differ in composition. Both one and the other preparation are designed to moisturize the nasal mucosa. It may turn out that one of the preparations is not enough for you. If Rinopantein does not cause satisfactory hydration, please try a preparation with a different composition, e.g. Rinotacu. 2.Yes, ointment Rinopanteina more "greases" the mucous membranes of the nose, due to the content of petroleum jelly in the structure. 3.The usual ointment with vitamin A is not intended for use on the mucous membranes of the nose, but only for administration on the skin. 4.Isotonic seawater has the same concentration as physiological water, so it does not have a dehydrating effect on mucous membranes and has a moisturizing effect. You can use seawater alternately with Rinopantein, with min. 30 minutes interval in the application of preparations. However, due to the big problem with drying the mucous membranes of the nose, I would focus on regular application of preparations containing moisturizing substances and protecting against moisture loss such as Rinopantein or Rinotac.

Thank you so much. Being in need, yesterday I bought a rinopantein spray. It sprays as it is written 2 times a day, but I do not feel the hydration at all, it is temporary, after which I have to clean my nose, because the spray just leaks out. I have 2 questions 1. Is rinopantein better than rinotac? Or maybe they fall out similarly. 2. Will the use of rinopantein ointment grease the nose more than rinopantein spray 3. Will the use of ordinary vitamin ointment in a small amount not take my nose and hair so that pathogens will penetrate more easily into the nose 4. I also bought isotonic pharmacy seawater. Can I use it with rinopantein spray alternately during the day or rather focus on rinopantein spray and put sea water in the cabinet. I read various information, once that the sea water moisturizes, another time it dries and I got a little lost in it. I stay in a dry room, at home and at work, I use air humidifiers, but my nose still remains dry inside. After that, there were scabs in the middle and I have the impression that by this I often get infections Please help Regards ilidi

Isopropyl myristate is a layer-forming substance that prevents excessive evaporation of water from the epidermis/mucous membranes, which indirectly contributes to a better moisturizing effect. The antioxidant BHT is designed to prevent lipid oxidation processes. In the available sources I do not see information about side effects that may occur when using these substances. It can be assumed that unwanted effects are hypersensitivity reactions if there is an allergy to any of these compounds. Both Rinotac and Noson are effective preparations in moisturizing the nasal mucosa. Comparing the compositions of the preparations, it can be assumed that Rinotac will retain hydration longer, due to the content of isopropyl myristate. I enclose links to pages where you can compare the prices of Noson and Rinotac, order products with home delivery or book at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/94687/rinotac-aerozol/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/104366/noson-spray-do-nosa-z-olejem-sezamowym-aerozol/apteki
