Can the dose of Pramolan be too weak? Does Pramolan make it easier to fall asleep?
The doctor prescribed me Pramolan 50mg - 1 tablet in the evening. My question: does this drug only work at night and make it easier to fall asleep or is its effect longer and also works during the day. I have been taking for 12 days and I do not see any improvement in overfilling or any activity during the day. Maybe such a dose is too small for the night?

After administration, the drug is absorbed almost immediately completely. After about 11 hours, the concentration of the drug decreases by half, but the drug still works - maybe weaker. Therefore, the drug is often used 2 times a day so that the concentration in the body is constant.
Last night I took the 14th tablet, so it is just 2 weeks from starting to take the drug. For now, there are no major changes, maybe it's a little better, or maybe it's a placebo effect. I do not know For me, the important information is that the drug taken in the evening is to work during the day. I would like to take this opportunity to ask one more question: how long does the effect of the tablet last from taking it? For example - if I take the drug in the evening at 20:00, how long does the tablet work?

This whole condition can indirectly help and solve problems with falling asleep, but it is not a rescue drug that we use the tablet 30 minutes before bedtime and fall asleep. That's not how it works. Systematic treatment is needed for about 1-2 months. After the first 2 weeks, you should feel the first positive effects. If you don't see anything, it's likely that the dose is too low – but that's up to the doctor. Please ask if something is unclear.

The effect of Pramolan does not appear immediately and mood changes progress gradually, so the medicinal product should be used regularly for at least 2 weeks.
