Dizziness and myalgia are common side effects when taking statins (Rosutrox). Cases of significant damage to skeletal muscle during treatment with drugs from this group (rhabdomyolysis, i.e. muscle breakdown) have been documented - but it occurs very rarely and is correlated with the amount of dose used (this effect most often occurred in patients taking doses above 20 mg per day, who often had additional aggravating factors). The test to determine whether muscle damage occurs in the body is a creatinine kinase test from blood plasma. There is a possibility that these symptoms result from curvature of the spine, and their occurrence coincided with the time of taking a new drug, but this can not be determined for sure and all possibilities should be considered. The occurrence of disturbing symptoms after using the drug is best reported to the attending physician, who will determine further therapeutic management. The doctor should also report suspected side effects: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane For more information on hypercholesterolemia and treatment options, see https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/wysoki-cholesterol
