Usually, the drug is used every 12 hours when dosed 2 times a day or every 6 hours in case the drug should be taken 3 times a day. According to the manufacturer: "In the eradication of Helicobacter pylori: Metronidazole is used for at least 7 days in combination with other medicinal products recommended for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections. Adults: 500 mg (2 tablets of 250 mg) 2 to 3 times a day for 7-14 days. Paediatric population: 20 mg/kg/day, not more than 500 mg twice daily for 7-14 days. Before starting treatment, you should read the official guidelines."
