Eye drops do not last long on the surface of the eye, so their healing effect is also limited to a few minutes. The recommended dosage is for adults and children: 1-2 drops 3 or 4 times a day into the conjunctival sac for 7 to 10 days. However, the doctor, based on his knowledge, may prescribe the use of the drug in a different way than the one officially accepted. Apparently, the doctor assumed that the infection is strong enough and it is necessary to use more frequent drops. In my opinion, there is no need to worry.
