Will skipping the last placebo pill affect the effectiveness of contraception?

If I missed the last placebo pill and started a new blister of Orlifique tablets at a fixed time the next day, is the effectiveness maintained? Does skipping the last placebo tablet somehow interfere with the effectiveness of the pills?
