Can I increase the prescribed dose of Kostarox?

Good morning, I was prescribed the drug kostaroks, 60 mg at this dose (60 mg) the drug gave in my case poor results, I tried 2 times a day for 60mg, or daily 120 mg. It works better, at least as an analgesic (inflammation in the knee area). Therefore, I have a question whether, as a person weighing 130 kg, I can take a dose greater than 60 mg. Eg 90mg or 120mg? I will be grateful for your reply.

Kostarox should be used in the smallest, effective dose for the shortest possible time, as directed by your doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/93791/kostarox-tabletki-powlekane/apteki According to the manufacturer's recommendations, it is recommended to use Kostarox for osteoarthritis at a dose of 30 mg per day. It is allowed to use the drug at a dose of 60 mg per day. With rheumatoid arthritis, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 90 mg per day. For the relief of gout symptoms, it is possible to use a maximum dose of 120 mg per day for a maximum of 8 days. In conclusion, in your case you should not use a higher dose of the drug than recommended. Do not increase or decrease the prescribed dose yourself. If the effect of the drug is too weak for you, I encourage you to consult your doctor again.
