After 11 days of taking Limetic tablets, I still have spotting - is something wrong ? If I started taking Limetic birth control pills 4 months after giving birth, am I protected from pregnancy?

I started taking Limetic birth control pills 4 months after giving birth. I took the first pill on the first day of menstruation (I have a fairly regular period). After 11 days of taking the pills, I still have spotting. Is something wrong? And if I started taking Limetic birth control pills 4 months after giving birth, am I protected primarily by pregnancy?

Yes, you are protected against pregnancy because you started taking the pills on the first day of the cycle (i.e. when menstruation has already occurred). Irregular bleeding and mid-cyclic spotting are a very common side effect of single-component contraceptive pills. Bleeding may be longer and more frequent - this situation may also recur during subsequent cycles. I recommend the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-hormonalna
