After about 3 days, Clarithromycin, the active substance in Klabax, is completely excreted from the body. Then you can consume alcohol. There is no strong evidence that alcohol in limited quantities alters the effect of antibiotics such as Clarithromycin. A much more serious mistake is to stop taking the drug and stopping therapy in order to drink alcohol.
