Were both drugs prescribed by the same specialist? Metoprolol contained in Betaloc ZOK may increase the effect of metformin, and at the same time make it difficult to notice the first symptoms of too low blood glucose such as increased sweating, trembling hands or accelerated heart rhythm. If medicines have been prescribed by different doctors, a consultation is indicated to determine whether these medicines can be used concomitantly and, if so, whether it is necessary to change the dosage recommendations. If both drugs were prescribed by the same doctor - please follow the dosage regimen and keep at least 2-3 hours between individual preparations.
