Vesicare is not a hormonal drug. This medicine contains solifenacin - a cholinergic receptor antagonist that causes the muscles of the detrusor to relax, thereby reducing the frequency of urination. Vesicare is used in patients with overactive bladder syndrome and multiple sclerosis for symptoms such as pollakiuria and urgent urinary incontinence.
