I was currently using Bactroban nasal ointment. And I think that the malaise and runny nose that occurred in me is the result of this ointment. Infections, colds are always combined with purulent discharge from the nose, and now the discharge was only transparent.

In this case, it is best to go with your son to the doctor as soon as possible. General hypersensitivity reactions associated with the use of mupirocin contained in Bactroban ointment are very rare. Without collecting a detailed interview and examining the child, it is impossible to conclude about the causes of the ailment. The described symptoms require urgent consultation with a pediatrician.
