Can dizziness and fatigue appear in the first days of hypertension treatment?

Hello, Due to the detected hypertension, the doctor prescribed me 2 medications, ie Telmizek and Dilzem retard. The pressure was maintained at 140-150/ 90-100. Now I feel quite tired with dizziness, but the pressure drops even to the level of 120/75 (pulse-75) - I take medication for 4 days. Is it correct that lowering the pressure can go on like this? Thank you for your reply.

To @Kamil: Such symptoms can have many causes, e.g. as a result of improperly controlled hypertension, heart failure may occur, resulting in, m.in swelling of the ankles and calves. Observed symptoms should be discussed with your doctor. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleadvice here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja

Hello, Thank you for your reply. Can leg pain also occur at arterial pressure + slight swelling on the foot?

Symptoms such as fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness may appear in the initial period of treatment, especially since there has been a large decrease in heart rate. If the symptoms do not improve in the next few days, it is worth consulting a doctor - you may need to modify the dosage of the medication.
