Cough and throat discomfort are not described as possible side effects of Siofor XR 750 or other medicines with this active ingredient. Although some very rare side effects may not be listed in the documentation of the medicine, due to the mechanism of action, this medicine is unlikely to cause symptoms similar to infectious. The reason is probably different - in the first place I would suggest excluding other causes of ailments, such as viral or bacterial infection. A visit to your family doctor who will listen to you and examine your throat may help.
