Any drug used can provoke the occurrence of allergic reactions. Allergic reactions are one of the side effects of drugs. If you have already been diagnosed with any allergy to drugs, I encourage you to inform the staff before administering the contrast and the doctor who refers you for a diagnostic test. The occurrence of an allergic reaction to contrast agents is determined individually.
