On the abczdrowie website I found information "Active substances in garlic may accelerate the breakdown of synthetic estrogen from birth control pills and reduce their effectiveness". Does garlic reduce the effectiveness of Atywia Daily contraceptive pills? I took the pill at 7 and about 19 I ate a stew in which I saw pieces of garlic. Is this true? Is there anything to worry about? If it really reduced the effectiveness, then probably such information should be in the leaflet just like information about grapefruit.

I have not found information that eating garlic added to the dish significantly affects the metabolism of hormones and causes a weakening of contraception. In my opinion, there is no reason to worry. By the way, I leave a link to the latest video on our channel, just about garlic: https://youtu.be/pfgxD5aR2v4
