Naproxen (the active ingredient in Nalgesin) and meloxicam (the active ingredient in Trosicam) are not recommended together because they belong to the same therapeutic group and the combination of them may increase the risk of side effects in the gastrointestinal tract such as inflammation, bleeding, ulceration and perforation.
