Can Fluomizin globules therapy for 12 days harm?
Hello, the gynecologist recommended me for a slight infection fluomizin 6 tablets every other day. In the leaflet it is written to take for 6 days because the extension of the treatment causes vaginal ulceration. I'm afraid that therapy for 12 days will harm me. Who to believe the doctor or the leaflet...?

It is usually recommended to use Fluomizin once a day for 6 days in the evening, but every other day is also correct if the severity of the infection is relatively low. Marked relief of inflammation and vaginal discharge is generally felt after 24 to 72 hours, however, treatment should not be stopped, even if the symptoms (itching, vaginal discharge, smell) disappear. Treatment lasting less than 6 days may cause symptoms to return. The risk of ulceration you mentioned increases with prolonged treatment, e.g. the use of higher doses and for e.g. a month.
